§ Ms Glenda JacksonThe study referred to was carried out by officials and looked into the synergies between the Coastguard Agency, the Marine Safety Agency and their policy and financial sponsorship divisions in the parent Department. The output from the study was policy advice to Ministers in a previous Administration. In line with the normal convention such advice is not released.
