§ Mr. Chris SmithMy Department, in consultation with other Departments, and with advice from the Music Industry Forum, plans to continue working closely with the music industry to identify areas where Government might be able to help it. The Forum has considered such issues as copyright, the New Deal, training, and provision of venues for live music. My aim is to help create the conditions in which this highly successful business can flourish further.
