To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment if he will list, for each local education authority in the North West Region,(a) the average number of pupils excluded from school and the percentage of pupils this figure represents and (b) the number of full-time equivalent education welfare officers employed by each local education authority in each of the past five years.
