To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what the timetable is for implementation of those provisions of the Employment Relations Act 1999 relating to trade union recognition. [102304]

§ Mr. Alan Johnson
The Government intend to bring these provisions into force shortly after Easter next year.
