§ Miss Melanie JohnsonThe joint DSS/Inland Revenue consultation paper "Stakeholder Pensions: The Tax Regime—The Government's Proposals" issued on 16 September did not contain a lower age limit for the 523W availability of stakeholder pensions. We will announce our intentions on all aspects of the stakeholder tax regime when we have considered the responses to the consultation.
