§ Mr. Spellar[holding answer 22 April 1999]: Details of overseas offices of the Defence Export Services Organisation are as follows:
for additional funding to cover increases in activity and service developments. We take into account the recommendations of the Advisory Group when considering funding levels for the national specialist services.
The current allocation is £29.5 million for the liver transplant service and £4.7 million for the specialised paediatric liver service. Over £1 million of additional funding has been agreed for developments in these services in 1999–2000, which includes funding for 20 additional paediatric liver transplants.
