§ Mr. HuttonNone. Residential care homes within the whole of Bedfordshire are registered and inspected by the Registration and Inspection Unit of Bedfordshire County Council. The registration and inspection of nursing homes within Bedfordshire is the responsibility of Bedfordshire Health Authority. Residential care homes and nursing homes are subject to the Registered Homes Act 1984.
