§ Mr. Bercow
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has made of the non-IT costs of the National Changeover Plan, with particular reference to informing business and the public. [80397]

§ Ms Hewitt
The cost of informing business and the public about the changeover would depend on the final approach taken to the changeover. By planning ahead, we will be able to ensure that a UK changeover would be cost effective for the economy as a whole.
