Mr. Ainger

To ask the Attorney-General (1) how many masters of foxhounds have been prosecuted for criminal damage caused by packs of foxhounds in each of the last five years; how many such prosecutions were successful; and what penalties were imposed; [56266]

(2) how many prosecutions have been brought by the CPS against masters of foxhounds for hunt trespass on railway land in each of the last five years; how many prosecutions were successful; and what penalties were imposed. [56269]

The Crown Prosecution Service holds no central records in respect of the number of masters of foxhounds prosecuted for criminal offences. The information is held on individual case files and could be obtained only at a disproportionate cost.
