§ Mr. George HowarthThere has been a series of incidents at Holloway prison in recent months which were connected to the non-issue of medication to prisoners. Clearly, there are concerns about the failure to provide medication. As a result, the governor has instituted an inquiry which will be conducted by the deputy governor, with the assistance of a senior nursing adviser from Prison Service headquarters. This inquiry commenced today.
