§ Mr. Dewar[holding answer 19 October 1998]: The Government in Scotland are committed to taking forward Personal Learning Plans which will bring together all the relevant information on a child's performance and enable parents, teachers and pupils to agree a programme of development which will include targets for attainment. Further guidance will be issued to education authorities in due course.
