§ Ms HewittIn EMU, all euro bank notes issued by the European Central Bank (ECB) and the national central banks of participating member states will be legal tender in all member states which participate in EMU. Similarly, all euro coins issued by participating member states and complying with the denominations and technical specifications adopted by the Council in accordance with Article 105a(2) of the Treaty, will be legal tender in the participating member states.
