§ Mr. RaynsfordIn response to the consultation paper on local government finance, we received 40 representations on second homes. Since the election, we have also received an additional 112 representations on second homes. Of the representations received, 113 were in favour of abolition of the 50 per cent. discount and 39 were against abolition of the discount.
