§ Mr. SpellarFour landowners have withdrawn consent for military training to take place on their land since 30 April 1998. The total land area withdrawn was 6,376 acres and 650 man training days were lost. Two of these landowners have since reinstated permission for training to take place on their property. The continued withdrawal of the remaining land is not expected to have any lasting effect because military exercises have been rescheduled to take place elsewhere.
