§ Angela EagleThe information is available annually. It is estimated that expenditure on income support will increase from £12.2 Billion in 1998–99 to £12.6 billion in 1999–2000. The figures are consistent with those set out in the Comprehensive Spending Review White Paper published by the Government on 14 July 1998.
