§ Dr. Jack CunninghamMy role is to assist the Prime Minister and Ministerial colleagues in the implementation and co-ordination of Government policy and its effective presentation. In accordance with the House's resolution on Ministerial Accountability of 19 March 1997, it is for individual Ministers to account for the policies, decisions and actions of their departments and Next Step Agencies. I shall, of course, answer questions on my own responsibilities for the work of the Cabinet Office, including the Better Government agenda.
