§ Mr. Wilson[holding answer 31 July 1998]: Although the Department works closely with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Department for International Development it has had no discussions with either on these issues. The Export Forum's recommendations for target markets related solely to their 1039W potential for the promotion of exports and had no bearing on the government's policies on development and democratisation.
