Mr. McLoughlin

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much money per head was allocated for ambulance services in each health region in England in each of the last three years. [55478]

Mr. Boateng

The information given in the table shows allocations in the form of ambulance trust income per head aggregated by National Health Service Region. Copies of the figures for 1997–98 will be placed in the Library when they become available.
