What arrangements are being made, in the proposed pedestrianisation of Trafalgar and Parliament Squares, approved in principle by the Government and made public on 21 August, for disabled people whose disability make them dependent, for mobility, upon wheels. [HL3290]
§ Lord WhittyThe World Squares for All masterplan includes a wide range of proposals to make the two squares and surrounding area more accessible. Vehicle access and parking provision for disabled people will be one of the many issues which will be looked at in detail during the next stage of the project when detailed design and implementation options are developed.
