To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the total cost to public funds of the report on United Kingdom productivity which he commissioned from the consultants McKinsey and Company; what is the length of the main report submitted; and what is the cost per page.[60649]

Mr. Geoffrey Robinson

The Government did not commission the report. It was independently produced. There was no cost to the public purse of the report on productivity by McKinsey and Company.
