§ Mrs. RocheAll plutonium recovered from the reprocessing of spent fuel from the Calder Hall and Chapel Cross reactors since May 1995 is under Euratom safeguards and subject to the terms of the UK/Euratom/IAEA safeguards agreement. The process of historical accounting announced as part of the outcome of the Strategic Defence Review (SDR) will cover all plutonium recovered from the reprocessing of fuel from the Calder Hall and Chapel Cross reactors, irrespective of whether it has been placed under international safeguards or not.
