§ Baroness Symons of Vernham DeanHer Majesty's Government plays an active role in the Tripartite Commission which considers all evidence relating to the 600 Kuwaitis believed to have been detained in Iraq since the Gulf War. The Iraqis have so far only produced sufficient information to close three of the files. We will continue to insist that Iraq provides full information on the whereabouts of the others.
