Mr. Jon Owen JonesMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales launched the Compact between the Government and the voluntary sector in Wales (Cm 4107) at the Conference of the Wales Council for Voluntary Action in Llandudno this morning. We will be promoting the principles contained within the Compact to all public bodies in Wales including local authorities building on the work carried out jointly by the Welsh Local Government Association and Wales Council for Voluntary Action in the document "Achieving Shared Aims" which the Under-Secretary my hon. Friend the Member for Neath (Mr. Hain), launched last February.
