Mr. Jon Owen JonesData on survival rates, for England and Wales, were published by the Office for National Statistics in 'Population and Health' Monitor MB1 98/1, a copy of which is in the Library of the House. Data relating to Wales only are not currently available.
The available information on deaths by site of cancer, from the Office for National Statistics, is detailed in the following table. The data relate to deaths of Welsh residents occurring in 1997.
