§ Ms Glenda JacksonThe transfer of non-core trunk roads to local highway authorities is expected to take some years to complete. It is intended that standard spending assessments will be adjusted to coincide with actual transfers. We published on 11 November a paper setting out how it is planned to take forward the detrunking proposals and I have arranged for copies to be placed in the Library.
