To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many representations he has received from(a) hon. Members and Peers and (b) members of the public regarding the proposed abolition of the ability of non-taxpayers to reclaim tax credits paid on investment income; and when he expects to announce his decision on whether non-taxpayers can continue to reclaim the tax credit from 6 April 1999.
