Mr. Rendel

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security under the New Deal for Lone Parents, how many lone parents, broken down by constituency,(a) received initial invitation letters, (b) booked initial interviews with personal advisers, (c) attended initial interviews, (d) agreed to participate in the programme following an initial interview, (e) were referred to Employment Service programmes or other training, (f) obtained jobs following participation and (g) have increased their hours of work following participation; and where a job has been obtained, or hours of work have been increased, how many lone parents (i) are in work where the hours are (A) less than 16 hours per week, (B) between 16 and 29 hours per week and (C) 30 hours per week or more, (ii) have moved off income support as a result, (iii) have a child under five years and three months of age, (iv) in cases where the youngest child is over five years and three months put themselves forward before receiving an invitation letter and (v) were given help with making an application for family credit.
