§ Mr. BoatengOfficials met representatives from the Charity Shops Group recently to discuss some of the problems identified in this area. Consideration is being given to whether there is a need for guidance to be given to the relevant authorities.
§ Mr. CoxTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps he has taken to ensure that Part III of the Charities Act 1992 is being enforced to control house to house collections. [59888]
§ Mr. BoatengPart III of the Charities Act 1992 has not yet been brought into force. I hope soon to be in a position to announce proposals for taking this matter forward.
