§ Ms Glenda JacksonAs I explained to the hon. Member in my answer of 9 November 1998,Official Report, column 29, the Department is currently planning a work programme to take forward revisions of the 1997 National Road Traffic Forecasts to reflect the impact of the New Deal for Transport. Once this planning work is complete and we have had an opportunity to consult the Commission for Integrated Transport we will be able to set a target date for the publication of a new set of forecasts.
