§ Mr. HuttonThe Royal Commission on Long-term Care of the Elderly has been asked, in its terms of reference, to have regard to the number of people likely to require various kinds of long-term care in the future. The National Carers Strategy will draw together existing work within Government that impacts on carers, assess whether any of their key needs have been overlooked and set out an integrated strategy for future action by Government.
