§ Mr. Banks[holding answer 3 November 1998]To date the National Lottery distributors have awarded £5.03 billion to 31,000 projects across the United Kingdom. In England, the Arts Council of England has announced grants totalling £963,271,382 to 7,411 projects. The English Sports Council has announced grants totalling £753,348,968 to 2,679 projects. The figures for the Witney constituency are set out in the table:
