§ Mr. DenhamNational population projections are produced by the Government Actuary's Department (GAD). GAD normally carry out projections every two years. The latest, 1996-based, projections were published on 27 November 1997. The next planned set of national population projections will be 1998-based and will be available towards the end of 1999.
