§ Mr. HainThe steel industry, like other parts of the manufacturing sector in Wales, is being affected by the international economic situation, but is continuing to take steps to reduce its cost base to ensure it remains profitable. Allegations of dumping and energy costs are a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.
