§ Mr. RaynsfordThe appointment of Parish trustees, who are simply the depository of the title to parish property, is a matter for the parish meeting. A judgment of the Court of Appeal has indicated that they may take steps appropriate for the protection of parish property provided that those steps are not in conflict with any direction given by the parish meeting.
