§ Mr. MorleySchedule 4 to the Welfare of Livestock Regulations 1994 requires livestock, including cattle, to be provided with an adequate supply of fresh drinking water each day. These Regulations will shortly be reviewed, in their entirety, as part of the process of implementing Council Directive 98/58/EC concerning the protection of animals kept for farming purposes.
