§ Clare ShortWe recognise that trauma counselling is an important component of health care in post-conflict situations. We support a number of projects which provide direct assistance to children affected by conflict, including after-care for traumatised children. In the past, we have supported a major social rehabilitation programme with World Vision for children abducted by the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda. More recently, we have provided assistance to non-governmental and UN agencies working in Liberia.
