§ Mr. Tony LloydThe UK's annual contribution to the UN Regular Budget in 1996–97 was 5.32%. Expenditure on the United Nations Commission of Inquiry into Arms Flows to Rwanda from the UN Regular Budget in the biennium 1996–97 was $520–506. The Commission completed the first phase of its work in November 1996. It was reactivated by Security Council Resolution 1161 of 9 April which encouraged UN Member States to make voluntary contributions to finance the work of the Commission. In response, the Government have announced a contribution of £100,000.
