§ Mr. Milburn[holding answer 14 May 1998]: Waiting list and waiting time information is collected centrally on a quarterly basis direct from health authorities and trusts and shows the position at the end of the quarter. Provisional information showing the position on 31 March 1998, aggregated by region, will be published on 21 May 1998. Final validated figures, on a health authority and trust basis, will be published a few weeks later. The final figures will show ordinary cases and day cases separately.
