§ Ms JowellThe Green PaperOur Healthier Nation sets out our proposals for a new health strategy for England. These proposals went out for consultation until 30 April. A White Paper, taking account of the results of the consultation, will follow in the autumn.
Our Healthier Nation recognises that asthma is a serious health problem. Although it is not proposed for a national target it heads the Green Paper's list of possible candidates for local targets.
