§ Mr. HoonAs indicated by the Lord Chancellor in his statement of 9 October 1997, the first Annual Report to Parliament on the operation of the judicial appointments system will cover the period April 1998 to March 1999. It will contain statistics and information about judicial appointments made during that period and will be published in the summer of 1999.
