In recent weeks, there have been a number of terrorist incidents committed by groups attempting to de-rail the peace process.

Since the signing of the Agreement on 10 April there have been two murders and several attempts have been made to detonate explosive devices. Sadly, a continuing threat exists from those terrorist groups opposed to the Agreement. The security forces remain alert to deal with this.
