§ Mr. Win GriffithsThe designated regional service for spinal injuries is based in the University Hospital of Wales Healthcare NHS Trust and comprises acute spinal trauma surgery at Cardiff Royal Infirmary with rehabilitation at the Spinal Injuries Unit, Rookwood Hospital. Some acute spinal surgery for trauma is carried out at other acute hospitals.
