§ Mr. MacdonaldProtection Orders are made in response to applications. When such an application is made, consideration is given as to whether it meets the terms of the Freshwater and Salmon Fisheries (Scotland) Act 1976. Before an Order is granted, the Secretary of State must be satisfied that the required standards will be met and maintained throughout the prescribed area.
