§ Mr. MilburnThe national standing Advisory Committee on Resource Allocation is looking at how resources are distributed across both secondary and primary care to ensure that these fully reflect local population needs and operate as fairly as possible.
One of the Committee's tasks is to undertake a review of the staff market forces factor which has important implications for London.
The aim is to complete this review in time to inform health authority allocations for 1999–2000.
