§ Mr. Win GriffithsNone as yet. The abolition of ACT will not start to affect local authorities' pension schemes until 1999-2000. We have given assurances that we will take account of all factors, including those arising from the forthcoming 1998 actuarial valuation, when determining the level of local authority provision for 1999–2000 and subsequent years.
