§ Mr. Doug HendersonOn Europe Day, 9 May, the European flag will fly, alongside the Union Jack, from Government buildings and in Parliament Square.
Flying the European flag on Europe Day reflects the important position which the UK hold for the six months of the Presidency and emphasises the Government's confidence in its role in the EU.
