§ Mr. MorleyThe Department publishes guidance on the safe disposal of farm plastics in the Code of Good Agricultural Practice for the Protection of Air. It has also commissioned consultants to produce a step-by-step guide to help farmers minimise the generation of agricultural waste, including waste farm plastics. I hope to publish this later this year.
The Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions is responsible for waste management legislation and the Environment Agency is responsible for the enforcement in England and Wales.
