Further to the Written Answer by the Parliamentary Secretary for the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, Angela Eagle, on 27 January (HC, WA 128), whether they will list the use or designated use of the 47 allotments which were closed between 7 May 1997 and 13 January 1998. The proposed new use is not necessarily a factor which is taken into account in deciding whether to grant consent for the sale or appropriation to another use of allotment land. In some cases, the proposed alternative use may require planning consent.
