§ The Prime Minister[holding answer 20 April 1998]: The final draft of the National Audit Office report on the Al Yamamah programme made available to the Chairman of the Committee of Public Accounts was formally sent to officials in the Ministry of Defence in January 1992 and seen by officials in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in February 1992. The report was not made available to officials in the Home Office.
