§ Ms Glenda JacksonThe £500 million transport package is over two years and includes a £50 million boost each year for rural bus services and community based transport initiatives. The extra provision for rural and community based travel has been split by the usual Barnett formula, giving £2.5 million for Wales in 1998–99. The split for 1999–2000 has yet to be decided.
